Rules

mochiRO allows high player freedom and minimal staff intervention, but we maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards cheating, RMT and staff deception. By playing on this server, you must agree to the following:

1. Cheating and Third-Party Programs

• • • The usage of any 3rd party program that puts you into an advantageous position over others is strictly forbidden and has zero tolerance 
     
    • Modifying GRF files in any way ( greyworld, nodelay, sprites ), botting, automated gameplay with auto-clickers and macros will result in an immediate permanent ban once caught. You will not be provided with warnings or a second chance

     2. RMT ( Real Money Trading )

• • • Buying or selling Items, Zeny, or accounts for real-world currency, gift cards, or external services will result in an immediate permanent ban for all players involved

     3. Impersonation of Staff ( Game Masters )

• • • Game Masters ALWAYS have the [GM] tag displayed in this exact format before their names, have their names and text messages displayed in yellow colour and wear the official GM sprites on their characters
     
    • Pretending to be a GM to trick other players or gain favors is strictly prohibited and will result in getting muted, jailed, banned or permanently banned on a case-to-case basis

     4. Freedom of Players

• • • We do not moderate or punish players for chat content, profanity, trash-talk or  guild names / emblems. There is no chat policing on our server, do as you like, and use your in-game ignore features if someone is bothering you
     
    • MvP competition, dead branching, and standard gameplay griefing are considered part of the game. GMs will not intervene in player disputes unless a situation escalates to an absolute extremity
      
    • Players MUST HAVE a clear intention of killing the MvPs during competition at all times

- although kill-stealing is frowned upon, you can use the @noks command to protect yourself, and it is advised not to ks others

- in severe cases of obnoxious use of dead branches, GMs will take action if necessary

- MvPs are considered Free for All and GMs will never intervene in competition
  (Mini-Bosses are not considered Free For All, and you can use @noks on them)

     5. Master Accounts

• • • Each player is only allowed to have ONE master account. There are certain restrictions applied to master accounts, such as limited homunculi to prevent alchemist trains, and decreased party EXP bonuses
     
    • Circumventing these restrictions, the creation and usage of multiple master accounts is strictly forbidden and will result in an immediate permanent ban once caught

     6. Account sharing

• • • You are allowed to share your accounts and lend items to whom you completely trust, but please be aware that if you get scammed or your accounts compromised, there might be no GM intervention since these actions are based on trust in the first place.
      Always verify who you're sharing with and be cautious at all times. Of course, it is an entirely different matter if someone tried to hack into your account or scam you impersonating as a GM, then, we will investigate accordingly.
     
    • NEVER share your password and details with ANYONE in-game, especially through the chat system / chat rooms
     
    • GMs will NEVER ask for your details and password, not in-game, not on Discord
